Issue Refunding on Authorize.net Payment Gateway

Created by Garrett Fankhauser, Modified on Thu, 2 May at 6:08 PM by Garrett Fankhauser

Occasionally you might have to issue a refund to a customer from your WooCommerce backend using your Authorize.net account.

If you try to refund a client and run into the issue of the refund box not letting you type in the refund amount (see photo below), you will actually have to wait until the charges have settled (about a day) to then refund the charge.

Once the charge has settled, you will be able to type the refund amount in the box, leave a note for the reason if needed, and lastly you can click the 'Refund $ via Authorize.Net' button to finish the job
